What are the benifits of Neem tree?

Neem the wonder in trees. In English it is called margosa and its Scientific name is ‘Azadirachta indica’. Margosa tree attains a maximum height of 40 to 50 fts. It is an evergreen tree whose branches spread all over. It is a very densely crowned tree, which may reach to a diameter of 30 to 40 fts. The trunk is relatively straight. Bark is thick and rough with whitish to reddish brown in appearance. A fluid called neera excrudes out of the bark. Leaves are pinnate 12 to 15 inch long with about 20 to 31 green colored leaflets, which are about 3 to 5 cm in length. Flowers are small and white in colour that blossom in spring.Fruits are oval in appearance green in colour, when in raw form and turns pale yellow when it ripes. Every fruit contains one seed, which contain oil. Neem tree fruits in summers.


We can not say all the usefulness if Neem because day by day its application is increasing.



  • The most importantly it can fight with germs. Neem has the ability to control viruses. Since viruses cause warts, neem can reduce and control them.

  • It is also very useful for diseases like gonorrhea and syphilis
  • Neem water can assist to remove cough.
  • It is very good as an anti inflammatory and pain relieving agent.
  • It is also very useful in curing urinary tract infection.
  • We can use Neem oil is extensively to stop hair fall and early graying of hairs with very good results.
  • In the application of some dandruff neem is used.
  • Neem water is very useful for burn injuries, this protects from any kind of infection
  • It has great application to make us relieved from acne, eczema and even ringworms.
  • Dry skin is a common problem, especially for the person who lives in dry climates.
    By using Neem Soap and Neem oil we can control the natural balance of our skin.
