What can i do to get healthy hair?

If one can have proper healthy diet he might get good healthy hair. Our hair might get into trouble when we do not eat the food which is necessary for hair. There are certain foods that make our hair healthy and strong. Within a few weeks we will notice the difference in our hair by having these foods in our day-to-day diet.

  • Drinking Water: Water is the most important element in our body. This water is also an important part of our hair. Water makes our hair supple and soft therefore we should drink enough water. We should not wait till we are thirsty. When we thirsty that means that we have lost water and our body is asking us to refill the loss. Water keeps your hair silky and shiny as well. So we should drink as much water as we can.
  • Having Protein: Our diet should be rich in protein for a good healthy hair as hair consists of primarily protein. Proteins make our hair more strength and prevent it from early breaking and splitting. Protein enriched foods are like fish, meat, milk, cheese and cereals. Other good food for protein includes eggs, beans and yogurt. So protein has also been found to be helpful in stimulating hair growth.
  • Getting Minerals: some type of minerals is also important for healthy hair. Iron brings oxygen to the hair. Lack of iron will starve the hair follicles of oxygen. Have red meat and dark green vegetable in your diet. Zinc helps to prevent hair loss. Seafood and Meat have a high content of zinc. Copper also can improve the natural color of our hair, so we should try to have some copper in our diet. Fresh vegetables, nuts, seeds, meat and liver are high in copper.
  • Eating Vitamins: We must ensure that we diet have all the necessary vitamins that can help to growth of healthy hair. Vitamin A can make our scalp healthy and is also good for our skin. Vitamin A can be found in vegetables especially carrots. Vitamin B and C is also necessary for hair growth and hair color. We should include these vitamins in our meal that will ensure that our hair will be healthy and will not split. We can eat fruits, vegetables, cereals, eggs, milk and bread to have more vitamins.
  • Doing Exercise: Exercise makes proper blood flow to our scalp and it will help in the growth of hair. Hence the exercise is very essential for good health, strong body and for healthy hair as well.

Advice: Extremely stress and some medications are conclusively known to slow down hair growth. Try to free or control your stress for fresh mind and good health. If you have a medical condition and your doctor has prescribed medications it is of course imperative that you should follow your doctor's orders regardless of the impact to your hair.
